Kayla Swaney beamed with pride last season when the Laurel Highlands girls soccer team made the playoffs.

The Lady Mustangs无毛视频� assistant coach was happy with the team无毛视频檚 success on the field, but when she was approached by several members of the team to help out in the community, Swaney couldn无毛视频檛 remove her smile.

Swaney immediately thought of the YMCA when the inquiry came her way.

无毛视频淎 handful of the girls in the past have mentioned wanting to become involved in the community, and my mind instantly went to the Y, as it has always provided so much to our community,无毛视频� Swaney said. 无毛视频淎s a coach, your job doesn无毛视频檛 end when you step off the field. I want our girls to see the importance of stepping up, helping out and giving back. I无毛视频檓 so impressed with these girls, who have shown up bright and early on a Saturday, and without complaint.无毛视频�

Swaney played for Laurel Highlands, and during her high school career and beyond, she has been a member of the YMCA.

无毛视频淭he YMCA has always been a great facility for our community,无毛视频� Swaney said. 无毛视频淚t无毛视频檚 a place where you can work out on your own, take group classes, learn the foundation and fundamentals of sports and it无毛视频檚 always been a safe haven for the youth around Fayette County.无毛视频�

The players have been assisting with cleaning the facilities inside and outside the YMCA, and Swaney has been scheduling each month to continue to assist.

Swaney met with YMCA President/CEO Casey Leone and expressed the Lady Mustangs无毛视频� desire to do whatever was needed.

There is a possibility of Laurel Highlands assisting with a youth soccer training camp where the team works with the instructors at the YMCA.
