Waynesburg earns golf win over Uniontown

Matt Eisiminger took medalist honors with an even-par 33 as Waynesburg Central defeated visiting Uniontown, 184-207, in non-section boys golf action at Rohanna’s Golf Course on Wednesday.
Following Eisiminger for the host Raiders were Jarett Tretinik (36), Cole Headlee (37), and Lucas Slifko and Carson Henry (39).
JJ Stewart and Elim Martin led the way for the Red Raiders with a pair of 39s. Liam Glover and Mason Payton both carded a 42 and Jason VanSickle followed with a 45.
LAUREL HIGHLANDS 209, BELLE VERNON 231 – Kaden Smith and Dan O’Neal each shot a 40 to tie for medalist honors as the Mustangs knocked off the host Leopards in a Section 2-3A match on the Gold Course at Cedarbrook Golf Course.
Mason Cicci and Ryan Revak were close behind with a 41 and 42. Damon Revak rounded out the scoring for LH wit a 46.
Zach Plymire led Belle Vernon with a 44 and was followed by Alex Quiggle (45), Gino Scalise and Josh Bowman (47), and Luke Edwards (48).
SHADY SIDE ACADEMY 187, FRAZIER 222 – Alex Avi shot a 34 and Jay Mohn had a 36 as the Bulldogs topped the Commodores in a Section 8-2A match at Linden Hall.
Owen Brown shot a 38, Dusyanth Paramesh had a 39 and Ben Craven carded a 40 for Shady Side.
Tyler Jerico paced Frazier with a 42 and was followed by Garrett Seich (44), John Sinclair and Logan Solomon (45), and Caden Biddle (46).
THOMAS JEFFERSON 195, ALBERT GALLATIN 237 – The Jaguars got a 33 from Ty Hartman and a 36 from Nate Thatcher in beating the Colonials in a Section 2-3A match.
AJ Weidmann had a 41 for TJ, Jake Pritchard had a 42 and Hunter Haines had a 43.
Cami Williams shot a 45 for AG and was followed by Ty Felio (47), Logan Diamond and Clay Smith (48), and Garrett Snyder (49).
