Enslen successfully defends title

Jeremy Enslen was in effect playing against himself during the fourth and final round of the Fayette County Open when he took to Duck Hollow Golf Course Sunday morning.
Santino Marchitello was five strokes back and, along with Dave Jamison, was in the final threesome along with Enslen.
Enslen overcame a bit of a shaky start to finish with a 1-over 73 for a four-day total of even-par 284 to successfully defend his county golf title.
Marchitello and Jamison both carded 2-over 74 with Marchitello holding onto second place, six strokes back of Enslen无毛视频檚 winning total. Jamison was alone in third place with a 291.
Enslen came in with the mindset of making pars, forcing the field to catch him and not sliding back into the pack.
无毛视频淚 played smart. I was 2-over after three holes. I was struggling a bit,无毛视频� said Enslen. 无毛视频淚 birdied No. 8, and that settled me down. I had birdies on No. 10 and 13. Once I got to even, I just played match play a little bit.
无毛视频淚 had a bad shot on No. 17, but just played for a five (bogey). I just wanted to stay away from big numbers.无毛视频�
As for his successful defense of the Fayette County Open title, Enslen added, 无毛视频淚t feels good. I like finishing on the home course.无毛视频�
Jamison felt he had his shot early with Enslen无毛视频檚 2-over start, but was not able to take advantage of the opening.
无毛视频淚 thought I had a chance. I just didn无毛视频檛 make any putts the whole tournament,无毛视频� explained Jamison. 无毛视频淚 wasn无毛视频檛 able to take advantage of my length (off the tee).

Marchitello无毛视频檚 round ended on a high note because he holed out on No. 18 for eagle, and solo second place. Jamison birdied the final hole, so the eagle turned out to be the difference.
无毛视频淚 had to play off (Enslen),无毛视频� said Marchitello, whose previous best finish was fifth. 无毛视频淚 didn无毛视频檛 want to lose any strokes. I wanted to stay even, not play too crazy.
无毛视频淚 was very pleased with my four days of golf. I had no major mistakes. This was my best finish, by far.无毛视频�
