‘American Pie’ singer Don McLean to perform at Carnegie Music Hall
Singer and songwriter Don McLean will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his hit song 无毛视频淎merican Pie无毛视频� during a performance at Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall on Friday, Nov. 10.
McLean is a Grammy award honoree, a Songwriter Hall of Fame member, a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and his smash hit 无毛视频淎merican Pie无毛视频� resides in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry and was named one of the top five songs of the 20th century by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA). In 2015, McLean无毛视频檚 handwritten manuscript of the lyrics to 无毛视频淎merican Pie无毛视频� was auctioned by Christies, selling for just over $1.2 million.
His catalog of songs, which also includes 无毛视频淰incent (Starry, Starry Night)无毛视频� and 无毛视频淐astles in the Air无毛视频� has been recorded by Madonna, Garth Brooks, Josh Groban, Drake, 无毛视频淲eird Al无毛视频� Yankovic, and countless others.
