The westbound ramps to the Charleroi/Allenport interchange on Interstate 70 in Speers were closed for about 90 minutes Friday morning after a tractor-trailer attempting to enter the highway went over the concrete median and got stuck. Charleroi firefighters responded to the incident shortly after 10 a.m., according to a Washington County 911 dispatcher supervisor, and a large tow truck was used to pull the rig from the median so the westbound exit and on-ramp could reopen to traffic. No one was injured in the incident, and ramps were reopened shortly after 11:30 a.m.
