Daniel Lance Felo II, who was wanted for criminal homicide in Beaver County, was captured in Connellsville on Thursday.

A suspect in a Beaver County murder was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Connellsville Thursday.

Connellsville police public information officer Bryan Kendi said the department assisted federal authorities in taking Daniel Lance Felo II into custody.

The Beaver County Times reported that Felo, 37, of Beaver Falls had been charged with the murder of 48-year-old Eric Mason. Mason was found dead from a gunshot wound in Beaver Falls Dec. 30.

Kendi said that Felo was tracked to a residence in the 500 block of Pittsburgh Street, and was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. without incident.

Felo was transported back to Beaver County following his arrest. Per online court records, he was arraigned on charges of homicide and robbery Friday morning and denied bail.
